We aim to make the transition to renewable energy sources as efficient as possible with the retention and creation of jobs in this industry. Instead of taxing coal we will introduce a moratorium to new coal mines and progressively phase out coal mining. We will ensure that opportunities are created in infrastructure, project development, construction, manufacturing and transportation.
These reforms as an essential investment into the future of Australia. The renewable energy industry can provide four times the amount of jobs that coal mining does and does not harm the planet in the way that fossil-fuel based energy does. In relation with the pandemic we are currently experiencing, it is essential that we can provide more jobs to make up for the ones that have been lost.

This will allow us to employ more people in the renewables industry and reduce Australia’s reliance on coal-based energy. The transition by periodically redirecting the spending to renewable energy instead of coal mining. This will allow us to employ more people in the renewables industry and reduce Australia’s reliance on coal-based energy. We will also ensure that businesses play their role in making renewable energy more accessible, particularly solar panels and wind energy and after a certain period increase the price of coal-based energy to encourage more people to make the switch to renewable energy.
